Meet Jeff Stoneman
A lifelong resident of Virginia, Jeff graduated from Hermitage High School. He then began a career at Dominion Energy where he worked as a first class lineman for 15 years. Jeff met the love of his life, Gayle in 1993. After getting married, Jeff and Gayle moved to Montpelier in 1995 where they raised and homeschooled their two sons, Weston and Wyatt.
Jeff has from his early childhood had a yearning to train and become a professional dog trainer; so it was a dream come true when he opened PawsCienda Pet Resort in May of 2000. Jeff & Gayle have also recently purchased the property in Montpelier formerly known as the Shalom House Retreat. After some remodeling, this facility, PawsCienda’s Shalom House Events, will become a premier retreat and wedding venue.
Jeff is an ordained Deacon and a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church where he currently serves as Treasurer. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hunting, fishing & kayaking. Jeff is a member of Cavalier Rifle and Pistol Club, Ducks Unlimited, the NRA and the Hanover County Republican Committee.
As a small business owner and resident of the Beaverdam district, Jeff has a unique understanding for both residents and businesses. He understands the values and lifestyles that uniquely bind Hanoverians together as a close knit community. He believes we need to fiercely defend the constitution and return to the faith and trust in God that inspired our Founding Fathers to fight for the freedoms that made America a light on a shining hill.
